Taradical Compassion

Passion for compassion!

Websites for wide-eyed idealists working for the welfare of all beings.

If you’ve ever wished you could bake a cake filled with rainbows and smiles and we’d all eat it and be happy… I wouldn’t declare under a blue hood that you don’t even go here, nor tell you to go home. You do go here!

I treasure your intrinsic fundamental buddha nature.

Your genuine heart is the vessel for a message I want to amplify.

For the sake of others.

My speciality is digital design for your compassionate business, but I also recognise that the most compassionate people are also those most prone to burnout.

I want to repay your kindness.

So, along with web design, I’ll be providing Buddhist teachings and vegan recipes to fuel your mind and body, and give you the joyous effort to benefit others… to infinity and beyond!

Tara Sleeman, the Tara behind Taradical Compassion

Meet Tara

In Buddhism there are 21 Taras, so that makes me the 22nd!

I’m your resident pun-loving pop culture enthusiast, lifelong Buddhist, and passionate vegan.

I’m all about reclaiming idealism. I want to make the dharma accessible to all and spread a message of equanimity and kindness.

There’s so much suffering in the world, all the damn time, but especially so at the moment.

The straights are dire and the sultans are swinging.

I want to offset that samsara by highlighting the good that people are actually doing.

And to repay that kindness with Shakyamuni Buddha’s teachings that date back 2600 years, tried and true, to help the passionately compassionate not burn out on the way.

What's in a name?

Defining Taradical Compassion.

Tara

In Buddhism, Tara is the female Buddha of Compassion and Action. She’s the Liberator of All Beings.

The Swift One. She doesn’t need an Eras Tour outfit change, there’s already 21 of her.

You’ve met the 22nd – that’s me! Tara Sleeman, pun-lover extraordinaire.

Tara is the Liberator or Saviouress, and Save-Your-Ess indeed, I’m here to get your voice heard.

Hey, speaking of being heard…

Radical

Noun and verb. You are both.

A radical is a change-maker and shaker-upper, a disruptor who sees things aren’t where they should be, but knows the possibility and potential for what could be!

In this instance, Peter Parker, I hope you use that power for good. A radical has great responsibility.

Think radically and be emboldened to help others. You can certainly do it. Have a voice and speak up.

Whatever discomfort you experience in sticking your head up is nothing compared with that of the suffering of the sentient beings that you are advocating for.

Which leads us to…

Compassion

If you’re reading this, this is the very term which likely brought you to this page. It resonates the most easily.

You have a kind heart and loving mind, and have probably declared at some stage “How don’t people get it!?” “Why don’t they just get along!?”

Compassion is the wish for all beings to be free from suffering.
Regardless of realm – both humans and animals – all beings wish for happiness and freedom from suffering.

That’s your drive.

Passion

Ah! The hidden word within compassion: Passion.

Not lust, attachment, sensuality. This is the very fire which fuels you!

It’s the combination of all four factors – The Liberator, The Radical, and The Passionately Compassionate that shape you.

You know what can be done, you see the possibility. You’re a visionary.

And with joyous effort we can get there!

Sanctuary much!

Thanks for stopping by, one last thing…

I love animals and animal-lovers. If your business is a not-for-profit sanctuary or vegan organisation, I would love to work with you.

Equanimity for all beings must include our non-human animal planetary companions.

I also donate 10% of profits to sanctuaries for rescued farmed animals.
